Chihuahua & El Fuerte 4-Day Tour

Colonial churches in charming villages, artwork by indigenous communities, and deep canyons await on our 4-day tour of Chihuahua and El Fuerte, combining nature, culture, and history on the Chepe Express.

Tour Details

Day 1: Chihuahua - Creel

You will be picked up from your hotel in Chihuahua and taken to Creel. A stop will be made at the Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc to visit the regional museum, cheese factory Américas, and a local bakery. Afterward, you'll check into a hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore Creel, including the Church of Cristo Rey and local handicrafts. Overnight at the hotel in Creel.

Day 2: Creel - Divisadero

After breakfast, we will drive to Divisadero. You can have lunch upon arrival, followed by a visit to the Copper Canyon Adventure Park for a 4-hour exploration, including walking trails, a suspension bridge, and a cable car ride. Overnight at the hotel in Divisadero.

Day 3: Divisadero - El Fuerte

Post-breakfast, you'll board the Chepe Express to El Fuerte, a Pueblo Mágico. Explore its cobbled streets, colonial church, and local cuisine. Overnight at the hotel in El Fuerte.

Day 4: El Fuerte - Los Mochis

After breakfast, enjoy free time before being taken to your hotel or to the airport in Los Mochis, where goodbyes will be said around 3 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

The Mennonite community of Cuauhtémoc is closed on Sundays. Alternative lunch arrangements will be made on that day.

Additional Info

For 2 adults and 1 child sharing a room, book 2 adults in a double room plus 1 child. For 1 adult and 1 child, book 1 adult in a single room plus 1 child. Only 1 reservation per room type is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Train tickets are non-refundable with a 30% penalty on fare. Other cancellations can be made free up to 48 hours before the tour.
