Learn all about the fascinating history of the Mexican Revolution on our day trip to Parral. We'll set off from Chihuahua and visit the tomb of Pancho Villa, Alvarado Palace and many more iconic spots.

Parral Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and set off southbound.

After approximately 2 hours 30 minutes of driving, we'll arrive in Parral, officially called Hidalgo del Parral, a significant historic town in the state of Chihuahua. Our visit will showcase its streets adorned with numerous monumental buildings rich in history.

We'll take a guided tour of Parral to explore its main points of interest. During our walk through the center, we will visit Alvarado Palace and observe its neo-renaissance, neo-baroque, and neoclassical styles. We will examine the luxurious decoration and furnishings of different rooms from various historical periods.

Our tour will also include the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the city's principal religious monument, the main square, and La Prieta mine, where we’ll learn about mineral extraction history.

Next, we will stop at the cemetery of Parral to visit the tomb of Pancho Villa. We will pause at his mausoleum to discuss significant aspects of his life as a key figure of the Mexican Revolution. Following this, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at a restaurant in central Parral.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Chihuahua, arriving by 4 pm.
