Learn all about the fascinating history of the Mexican Revolution on our day trip to Parral. We'll set off from Chihuahua and visit the tomb of Pancho Villa, Alvarado Palace and many more iconic spots.

Parral Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chihuahua and set off southbound.

After driving for around 2 hours 30 minutes, we'll arrive in Parral, officially called Hidalgo del Parral. We will explore the historic town, observing its streets and monumental buildings.

We'll take a guided tour of Parral to see its main points of interest. We will visit Alvarado Palace, noting its architectural styles and room decorations from different historical periods.

During the tour, we will head to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the city’s main religious monument, and then to the main square and La Prieta mine to learn about mineral extraction.

Our next stop will be the cemetery of Parral, where Pancho Villa's tomb is located. We will pause at his mausoleum to discuss significant events in his life. Following this, we will dine in a central Parral restaurant with a traditional lunch of local delicacies.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Chihuahua, dropping you off at 4 pm.
