This excursion takes you on a memorable journey from Chihuahua to the Samalayuca dunes, where you will experience the thrill of sandboarding in one of the most stunning desert terrains in Mexico.

Tour Overview

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup at your accommodation in Chihuahua. We'll set off towards the Samalayuca Dunes, ready to explore.

After getting acquainted, we'll hop into a vehicle and commence our drive through the Chihuahuan Desert, heading straight to the captivating Samalayuca dunes. Prepare to be awestruck!

Upon arrival at the Samalayuca dunes, we’ll provide you with all the necessary gear for sandboarding and offer guidance on how to safely enjoy this exhilarating sport. Once geared up, you'll have the chance to ride the boards down the vast sandy slopes for a duration of about 2 to 3 hours. It’s akin to surfing, but instead of the ocean's waves, you'll be gliding over spectacular sand dunes!

After an energetic session on the dunes, you’re likely to work up quite an appetite! We’ll make our way into the town of Samalayuca to savor the famous burritos from Villa Ahumada.

Once we’ve replenished our energy, we’ll return to your hotel in Chihuahua, concluding your sandboarding adventure in the Samalayuca dunes.
