Horseback Riding in Mallín Grande

The horseback ride begins at an equestrian centre in Mallín Grande, located next to the CH-265 road, at a time of your choice.

Instructors will provide a brief 20-minute talk on riding basics, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. No previous riding experience is required. Following this training, the horseback ride will commence.

The equestrian route is of low difficulty and lasts three hours, navigating the surroundings of Mallín Grande. Riders will follow the paths of old muleteers through the coigües forests.

The ride continues along the shores of General Carrera Lake, the largest lake in Chile, with stops at various viewpoints to enjoy the lake’s vastness.

A break will be included for a snack comprising a cereal bar, nuts, and juice or mineral water. After the refreshment, the ride proceeds through more scenic areas along the lake.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point.
