Plomo + Bertrand Lakes Boat Trip
Participants meet at their chosen time at Los Calafates street in Puerto Bertrand to begin the boat trip through a remarkable area of Chilean Patagonia.
The journey starts by sailing across Lake Plomo, bordered by the peaks of the Andes Mountains. This route allows for views of the Soler glacier, a prominent hanging snowdrift viewable from the boat.
The trip continues to Lake Bertrand, where participants will witness the source of the Baker River, Chile's largest river, flowing through the scenic Aysén region.
The region around Lake Bertrand and the Baker River is abundant in salmon and offers insights into other native species inhabiting this Andean environment.
Concluding after a two-hour journey, participants will return to the starting point.
