Plomo + Bertrand Lakes Boat Trip
We will meet at the time of your choice at Los Calafates street in Puerto Bertrand to embark on a boat trip through one of the most spectacular areas of Chilean Patagonia.
We will first sail across Lake Plomo, surrounded by the peaks of the Andes Mountains. During this part of the trip, we will reach the Soler glacier, a hanging snowdrift that can be photographed from the boat.
Next, we will head towards Lake Bertrand. While crossing this lake, we will see the source of the Baker River, the largest river in Chile, which flows through a beautiful area of the Aysén region.
The area around Lake Bertrand and the Baker River is rich in salmon, and we will learn about other native species in this Andean natural space.
Finally, after a two-hour trip, we will conclude the boat trip by returning to the starting point.
