One of the main natural gems of Mallín Grande is the Silvia Lagoon. You can navigate at your own pace on this lake in the Chilean Patagonia, renting paddle surfing or kayaking equipment.

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the CH-265 road. From there, we'll transport you in a 4x4 vehicle to the Silvia Lagoon, located 4 kilometres (2.4 miles) away.

Upon arrival, you'll be able to choose between complete paddle surfing or kayaking equipment. For paddle surfing, we provide the board and paddle for balance. For kayaking, we supply the boat and necessary paddles.

After equipping you with life jackets and the equipment, you'll navigate through the lagoon. During this easy crossing, you can enjoy the sounds of the Patagonian birds in the ecosystem.

Additionally, you can view the Andean mountains that dominate this part of Chilean Patagonia. This is a place of natural beauty, providing an unforgettable experience.

Finally, after your experience, we'll transport you back by 4x4 to the starting point. Arrival at the meeting point is scheduled three hours after pickup.

Fishing in the Silvia Lagoon

If you choose to kayak, fishing equipment is available free of charge. You can fish from the boat while enjoying your trip, but you must have your own valid fishing licence.
