One of the main natural gems of Mallín Grande is the Silvia Lagoon. You can navigate at your own pace on this lake in the Chilean Patagonia, renting paddle surfing or kayaking equipment.

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the CH-265 road, and from this point in Mallín Grande, we'll take you in a 4x4 vehicle to the Silvia Lagoon, located only 4 kilometres (2.4 miles) away.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, you can select between complete paddle surfing or kayaking equipment. For the paddle option, we provide the board and paddle for balance. For the kayak option, we provide the boat and paddles necessary for the activity.

After equipping you with life jackets and the rest of the equipment, you'll be able to explore the Silvia Lagoon at your own pace. During this peaceful and not very difficult crossing, you can enjoy the sounds of the Patagonian birds in this ecosystem.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to view the Andean mountains that dominate the area. This is a location of great natural beauty, offering an unforgettable experience.

Finally, from Silvia Lagoon, we'll transfer you back by 4x4 to the starting point, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled three hours after pickup.

Fishing in the Silvia Lagoon

If you choose to kayak in the Silvia Lagoon, we can also provide you with fishing equipment free of charge. You can try to catch fish from the boat during your trip. However, you must have your own valid fishing licence to enjoy this option.
