On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to discover its heritage and nearby villages such as Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire. Buckle up!

Chinon Private Sidecar Tour

This tour begins at the Chinon Tourist Office, where we will board a motorbike with a sidecar, an appropriate way to explore this part of France. The first stop will be a sidecar tour of Chinon, taking in the main monuments of this picturesque town along the Vienne River, including the exterior of the Royal Fortress and architectural sites like the collegiate church of Saint Mexme and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.

After Chinon, we will follow the route to Candes-Saint-Martin, learning about Saint Martin of Tours and viewing the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. Following this, we will cross the Montsoreau Bridge and arrive at Chouzé-sur-Loire.

We'll walk through Chouzé's old town before returning to Chinon. The tour lasts approximately two hours, with arrival back at the starting point scheduled two hours after departure.

What are the motorbikes like?

The vehicles will always be driven by the guide. Each motorbike accommodates a maximum of 2 passengers: one on the motorbike behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
