On this sidecar tour of the Loire Valley, we'll depart from Chinon to discover its heritage and that of nearby villages such as Candes-Saint-Martin and Chouzé-sur-Loire. Buckle up!

Chinon Private Sidecar Tour

The tour begins at the Chinon Tourist Office where participants will board a motorbike with a sidecar. The tour will start with a sidecar journey around Chinon to view the main monuments of the town located by the Vienne River, including the exterior of the Royal Fortress, the collegiate church of Saint Mexme, and the chapel of Sainte-Radegonde.

After exploring Chinon, the tour continues to Candes-Saint-Martin to learn about Saint Martin of Tours and observe the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers. Following this, participants will cross the Montsoreau Bridge to reach the village of Chouzé-sur-Loire.

A stroll through the old town of Chouzé will take place before returning to Chinon, with the arrival at the meeting point scheduled for two hours after departure.

What are the motorbikes like?

The motorbikes are driven by the guide at all times, with a capacity for 2 passengers: one on the motorbike behind the guide and one in the sidecar.
