Laos Cooking Class: what to expect?
After being picked up from your accommodation, your foodie adventure in Luang Prabang begins. If you chose the morning activity, you will first visit Phousi Market, the city's largest food market, where you can explore local ingredients used in Laotian cooking.
Next, you will head to the Cooking School for the main activity, preparing a complete menu of popular Laotian dishes, including:
Different "jeow": Laos' spicy dipping sauces.Mok pa: steamed fish wrapped in banana leaves.Tamarind’s speciality: lemongrass stuffed with chicken & herbs.Laap/koy: a salad with minced meat and herbs.Dessert will be a surprise!
You will also learn to prepare and eat sticky rice according to tradition. After cooking, you will enjoy your creations while the chef shares insights about the culinary history of Laos.
