Laos Cooking Class: what to expect?
After being picked up from your accommodation at the scheduled time, you will start your foodie adventure of Luang Prabang. If you participate in the morning activity, the first part involves a visit to Phousi Market, the largest food market in the city, where you will explore local ingredients and food stalls.
Then, you will proceed to the Cooking School for the main activity. Here, you will combine fresh local produce to make a complete menu of popular Laotian dishes:
Different "jeow": Laos' spicy dipping sauces.Mok pa: steamed fish wrapped in banana leaves.Tamarind’s speciality: lemongrass stuffed with chicken & herbs.Laap/koy: a salad with minced meat and herbs.Dessert will be a surprise!
You will also learn the traditional method of cooking and eating sticky rice. After cooking, you will enjoy your delicious creations while the chef shares insights into Laotian culinary history and traditions.

You will have the opportunity to cook your own version of the menu, excluding any foods you do not eat.
Important information
The visit to Phousi Market is only included in the morning cooking class option. The afternoon class includes only the cooking lesson and meal.
