Tepuhueico Day Trip

We’ll meet at Plaza de Armas in Castro or pick you up from your hotel to start our day trip to Tepuhueico Park. Our first stop is at Tepuhueico Park's entrance, where the groundkeeping team will provide us with detailed information about the many trails within the park. With over 20,000 hectares, there’s a trail for everybody!

Lace up your hiking boots as we set off into the wild! We’ll traverse several different trails, with the waterfall hiking trail being a highlight. Enjoy the surrounding foliage, home to various bird species and impressive landscape views.

Upon reaching the Tepuhueico Lodge, we’ll pause for lunch, featuring a menu with traditional dishes, including a soup or salad starter, a meat or fish plate as an entree, and dessert.

After lunch, we’ll explore the lodge’s gardens and stroll along the banks of Lake Tepuhueico, admiring the diverse species of flora and fauna that inhabit the area.

Finally, after 4-5 hours of exploration, we’ll return to the meeting point.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Castro and Chonchi. If you’re staying in another area of Chiloé Isla Grande, you can purchase the tour without pickup and meet us directly at Plaza de Armas de Castro.
