3-kilometre (1.8-mile) Hike: 1.5 - 2 hours
This hike begins at the outskirts of the Tepuhueico Lodge leading to the lake and the source of the Bravo River. Hikers will pass a 10-metre (32-foot) high waterfall and see the river with its caramel-coloured waters, home to the huillín, a Southern River Otter. The hike includes a visit to the Waterfall viewpoint and the Mañíos Square, featuring trees over 600 years old with trunks reaching 30 metres (98 feet).
7-kilometre (4.3-mile) Hike: 4 - 5 hours
This hike starts at the Arrayanes Cathedral, showcasing dense vegetation and myrtle trees that can reach 25 metres (82 feet). Participants will visit the banks of the Bravo River and traverse a forest rich in mosses, lichens, shrubs, and ancient trees. The tour includes a stop at Mañíos Square and concludes at the Waterfall viewpoint.
Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels in Castro and Chonchi. If you are staying elsewhere, select the option without pickup and travel to the Tepuhueico Lodge independently.
