Why visit Tepuhueico Park?
Located in the heart of the Grande de Chiloé Island, Tepuhueico Park is one of the most significant native Chilean forests, focusing on the conservation of flora, fauna, and wild mushrooms. This 20,000-hectare (49,421-acre) park is ideal for nature enthusiasts.
With your ticket, you can hike through the two main sections of Tepuhueico Park: the forest area and the coastal area, featuring trails that extend over 10 kilometres (6.2 miles). These trails allow exploration of dense forests, the Bravo River, and attractions like waterfalls, cliffs, and dunes.
The park is home to a great variety of wildlife, including numerous bird species such as the kingfisher, chucao, and royal woodpecker, as well as the Chiloé fox, pudu, and marine life including dolphins and whales.
