Why visit Tepuhueico Park?
Located in the heart of the Grande de Chiloé Island, Tepuhueico Park is a notable native Chilean forest focused on the conservation of flora, fauna, and wild mushrooms. This 20,000-hectare (49,421-acre) area is ideal for nature enthusiasts. With your ticket, you can hike two sections of the park: the forest area and the coastal area, with trails extending over 10 kilometres (6.2 miles). You will encounter dense forests, the Bravo River, and scenic waterfalls, cliffs, and dunes. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including numerous bird species like the kingfisher, chucao, and royal woodpecker, along with the Chiloé fox, pudu, and marine life like dolphins and whales along the coast.
