Gloriapata Day Trip

Embark on an adventure to the jungle and walk along hanging bridges and water basins on our Gloriapata Day Trip from Tingo María. We'll see a spectacular 82-foot high waterfall during our activity.

Gloriapata Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and drive to the district of Mariano Dámaso Baeraúm, home to the Tingo María National Park, a large nature reserve skirting this area until we reach the Gloriapata Waterfall.

Access will be via a suspension bridge, followed by a 45-minute walk through the jungle, where we will observe the Tres de Mayo micro-watershed. This natural cavity accumulates rainwater for various jungle species including orchids, medicinal plants, birds, butterflies, and more.

The highlight of our day trip is the 80-foot (25-metre) high waterfall, surrounded by a large pool of crystal-clear water ideal for a refreshing dip after the hike.

Enjoy some free time to relax in this natural area and go bird watching. You may see parrots and Andean cock-of-the-rocks, particularly at sunset.

After some leisure time, we will return to the minibus for the trip back to Tingo María, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 2 pm.
