Gloriapata Day Trip

Embark on an adventure to the jungle and walk along hanging bridges and water basins on our Gloriapata Day Trip from Tingo María. We'll see a spectacular 82-foot high waterfall during our activity.

Gloriapata Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and drive to the district of Mariano Dámaso Baeraúm, where we will find the Tingo María National Park. We will skirt the park until we reach the Gloriapata Waterfall.

Access to this location is via a suspension bridge, followed by a 45-minute jungle walk. Along the way, we will observe the Tres de Mayo micro-watershed, which supports various species, including orchids, medicinal plants, birds, and butterflies.

After our hike, we will enjoy the highlight of our trip: the 80-foot (25-metre) high waterfall, which creates a large pool of crystal-clear water ideal for a refreshing dip. You will have free time to relax and engage in bird watching in the surrounding area, where you may spot parrots and Andean cock-of-the-rocks, mostly at sunset.

Afterward, we will return to the minibus for our journey back to Tingo María, arriving at your hotel around 2 pm.
