Gloriapata Day Trip
At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and drive to the district of Mariano Dámaso Baeraúm, near the Tingo María National Park. We will access the Gloriapata Waterfall via a suspension bridge and embark on a 45-minute walk through the jungle, observing the Tres de Mayo micro-watershed along the way. This area is home to various species including orchids, medicinal plants, birds, and butterflies.
The highlight of the trip will be the 80-foot (25-meter) high waterfall with a large pool of crystal-clear water, ideal for a refreshing dip. After the hike, you will have free time to enjoy the natural setting and engage in bird watching, where you may spot parrots and Andean cock-of-the-rocks, especially at sunset.
We will then return to the minibus for the journey back to Tingo María, with an arrival at your hotel scheduled for 2 pm.
