San Miguel Day Trip

Our adventure begins at 8 am when we will collect you from your accommodation in Tingo María. As we embark on our journey toward San Miguel in the Pachitea province, enjoy a tour through quaint villages in the Peruvian lowlands, including Cayumba and Chinchavito. The drive will last approximately one hour.

Upon reaching San Miguel, the real exploration begins as we venture on a hike through the lush jungle. Along the way, we will traverse streams, creeks, and an array of tropical flora. After about an hour’s trek through the Amazon rainforest, we'll arrive at the stunning San Miguel Waterfall, a notable landmark in the Huánuco region standing tall at a remarkable 650 feet (200 meters).

You will have some leisure time in this picturesque location to capture memorable photos, swim in the natural pool created by the waterfall, or indulge in sport fishing, as this area is abundant with fish.

Following a refreshing swim in the falls, we will retrace our steps back to San Miguel and then head back to Tingo María. We aim to arrive at your hotel by 3 pm.
