Ugarteche River Basin Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Tingo María for a 30-minute journey to the district of Hermilio Valdizán.
The Ugarteche River is located in eastern Peru and is surrounded by its basin's lush vegetation and freshwater springs.
Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 1-hour walk through the jungle to explore the Ugarteche River basin, observing various species of flora and fauna, as well as learning about tropical crops and the area's biodiversity.
During the hike, we'll encounter waterfalls and natural pools, including Neptune Falls, where you'll have the opportunity to rest and swim.
After enjoying the area, we'll head back to the jungle's edge to meet the bus, returning to Tingo María and dropping you off at your hotel by 3 pm.
