Venture into the Amazon rainforest and explore its dense vegetation on our day trip to the Ugarteche River basin. You'll see incredible natural treasures such as Neptune Falls as we walk through this beautiful area.

Ugarteche River Basin Day Trip

After picking you up from your accommodation in Tingo María, we will begin a 30-minute journey to the district of Hermilio Valdizán.

The Ugarteche River is located in eastern Peru, surrounded by lush vegetation and freshwater springs.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a 1-hour walk through the jungle to explore the Ugarteche River basin, where you will learn about different species of flora and fauna, as well as various tropical crops and the area's biodiversity.

During our walk, we will encounter waterfalls and natural pools, including Neptune Falls, where you can rest and swim after the hike.

After relaxing in this natural area, we will head back to the jungle's edge, where our bus will be waiting. We will return to Tingo María and drop you at your hotel by 3 pm.
