Hiking Experience at Salamanca Island Road Park

Our journey begins at 7 am, as we collect you from your accommodation in Ciénaga for a trip to the Salamanca Island Park Road, a truly captivating destination. The journey will last approximately ninety minutes.

Upon arrival, we will disembark and immerse ourselves in the wonders of this stunning natural reserve along the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the beauty around you!

During the day, we will hike for about four hours, delving into this intriguing ecosystem, which was recognized as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2000 for its remarkable biodiversity.

Our trek will take us through mangroves, wetlands, and pristine beaches, all while we look for local wildlife. Interestingly, there is a site in this region dubbed the 'international bird airport,' hinting at the rich variety of bird species we may encounter.

Feeling peckish? Around midday, we will pause at a local eatery for a light meal and a chance to rest before continuing our exploration.

In the afternoon, we will board the minibus for our return to your hotel in Ciénaga, arriving around 2 pm.
