On this boat trip in the Cienfuegos Bay, we'll sail to the Castle of Jagua, one of the best-preserved fortresses in all of Cuba!

Description

Cienfuegos exists thanks to its bay. On this boat trip, we'll learn about this city from the water. We'll meet at the Muelle Real port to begin our adventure.

We'll board a traditional boat and cruise around Cienfuegos Bay, which flows into the Caribbean Sea through a long, narrow channel.

During the trip, we'll pass by cays and islets and make several stops for swimming. We can also take a break at the local church in El Perché and at local restaurants overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy lunch.

You'll enjoy Cuban music and learn facts about the history and biodiversity of Cienfuegos.

The boat will anchor at the pier of Punta Majagua to visit the Castillo de Jagua. Free time will be provided to visit this monument, erected by order of Ferdinand V to protect the town from attacks.

Finally, we'll meet up again to sail back to the starting point, concluding the trip after 6 hours of activity.
