Set sail on a boat expedition through Guanaroca Lagoon, an eco-preserve located in Cienfuegos, where you'll observe flocks of flamingos and a variety of waterfowl.

Description

Your journey commences with a pickup from your hotel in Cienfuegos, after which we embark on an enchanting boat ride to discover the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected natural environment rich in diverse wildlife along the southern coast of Cuba!

As we reach the verdant territory of Guanaroca Lagoon, which boasts an abundance of flora, we will board our boat to navigate its invigorating mix of fresh and saltwater. An interesting tidbit: the lagoon is formed by the meeting of the Arimao River as it flows into the Bay of Cienfuegos.

During our boat ride, we will traverse a safeguarded area that includes the Laberintos de los Naturales, Cayo Ocampo, and numerous smaller islets within the bay. While we cruise, you will witness the extraordinary biodiversity of this locale, highlighted by striking pink flamingos that bring vibrant hues to the lagoon.

The excitement continues! Throughout this tour, we will also seize the chance to spot migratory bird species and admire the picturesque mangrove forests.

After approximately 2.5 hours, we will conclude our exploration and return you to your hotel in Cienfuegos, wrapping up our boat tour of the Guanaroca Lagoon.
