Embark on a boat tour of the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected sanctuary in Cienfuegos, where you'll encounter colonies of flamingos and various aquatic bird species.

Description

The tour begins with pickup at your Cienfuegos hotel, followed by a boat journey to explore the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected natural park along Cuba's southern coast.

Upon arrival at Guanaroca Lagoon, we board the boat to navigate its mix of fresh and salt waters. Guanaroca is formed by the Arimao River's convergence with the Bay of Cienfuegos.

Our route will take us through the protected areas including Laberintos de los Naturales, Cayo Ocampo, and smaller keys. Expect to see vibrant pink flamingo colonies as we explore the lagoon's biological diversity.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to spot migratory bird species and admire the mangroves.

After 2.5 hours, the tour concludes, and we will return you to your hotel in Cienfuegos.
