Embark on a boat tour of the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected sanctuary in Cienfuegos, where you'll encounter colonies of flamingos and various aquatic bird species.
Description
The adventure begins with hotel pickup in Cienfuegos and a boat journey to explore the Guanaroca Lagoon, a natural park with biodiversity along Cuba's southern coast.
At the lush Guanaroca Lagoon, characterized by vegetation, we will board the boat to navigate its blend of fresh and salt waters. Guanaroca is formed by the Arimao River as it flows into the Bay of Cienfuegos.
The boat tour will traverse the protected area including Laberintos de los Naturales, Cayo Ocampo, and other smaller keys. During the cruise, witness the region's biological diversity, highlighted by vibrant pink flamingo colonies.
Additionally, we will look for migratory bird species and appreciate the mangroves.
After 2.5 hours, the nature adventure concludes as we return to your hotel in Cienfuegos.
