Embark on a boat tour of the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected sanctuary in Cienfuegos, where you'll encounter colonies of flamingos and various aquatic bird species.
Description
Our adventure begins as we pick you up at your Cienfuegos hotel and we set off on a boat journey to explore the Guanaroca Lagoon, a protected natural park along Cuba's southern coast.
Upon arrival at the lagoon, we'll board the boat to glide along its mix of fresh and salt waters. Guanaroca is formed by the convergence of the Arimao River and the Bay of Cienfuegos.
The tour encompasses the Laberintos de los Naturales, Cayo Ocampo, and various smaller keys. As we cruise, you'll observe the vibrant pink flamingo colonies and the region's biological diversity, including opportunities to spot migratory bird species and admire mangroves.
After 2.5 hours, we'll conclude our nature adventure and return to your hotel in Cienfuegos.
