Paddle Surfing in the Alfonso XIII Reservoir
At your chosen time, we'll meet at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, located 9 miles (15 kilometers) from Cieza. After introductions, you will follow the guide to the Alfonso XIII Reservoir.
Upon arrival, we will have a brief theory session to learn how to use the paddle surfing equipment. After the lesson, we will begin paddle surfing.
We will grab our paddleboards and oars and enter the Alfonso XIII Reservoir to enjoy the lush scenery. You will learn about the history of this site, where water from the Segura River has been flowing since 1915. This location is also referred to as the Quípar Reservoir.
During the activity, we will paddle to charming spots in the reservoir, visit small islands, and play games to enhance the experience.
After 3 hours of fun, we will return to the mainland, get back into our vehicles, and say our goodbyes at the starting point.
