Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge
At 9 am, we'll meet up at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, located a 20-minute drive from Cieza. We'll equip ourselves with helmets, harnesses, and necessary equipment before heading to the Almadenes Gorge's via ferrata.
Our walk to the starting point will take about 10 minutes, where safety regulations will be discussed before we begin the activity.
The route features clamps and fixed ropes as we traverse faults and vertical walls reaching approximately 330 feet (100 metres) high. Participants can enjoy views of the Almadenes Gorge and the Quípar River.
Along the via ferrata, we'll see the Almadenes hydroelectric power station, the La Higuera Ravine waterfall, and cross a monkey bridge consisting of three cables.
After a 2-hour 30-minute adventure, we'll conclude at the starting point.
