Bring out your adventurous side and admire an incredible protected natural area on our Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge. Deep ravines, steep walls, waterfalls and gravity-defying bridges await!

Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge

At 9 am, we'll meet up at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, located a 20-minute drive from Cieza. We will equip ourselves with helmets, harnesses, and other necessary equipment before heading to the Almadenes Gorge's via ferrata.

A brief 10-minute walk will take us to the starting point of the via ferrata, at the end of the Almadenes Gorge. Before beginning, we will go over important safety regulations for the activity.

We'll follow a route featuring clamps and fixed ropes as we navigate faults and steep walls reaching approximately 330 feet (100 meters) high. Throughout the experience, we'll enjoy scenic views of the Almadenes Gorge and the Quípar River.

During our journey, we'll pass the Almadenes hydroelectric power station, admire the waterfall of the La Higuera Ravine, and challenge ourselves on a monkey bridge constructed of three cables.

After a 2-hour 30-minute adventure, we will conclude our experience at the starting point.
