Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge

At 9 am, we'll meet up at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, which is a 20-minute drive from Cieza. We'll get kitted out in helmets, harnesses, and remaining equipment, preparing to follow the Almadenes Gorge's via ferrata.

We'll spend about 10 minutes walking towards the start of the via ferrata, located in the final stretch of the Almadenes Gorge. Before we begin, safety regulations needed for the activity will be discussed.

We'll follow a route with clamps and fixed ropes as we navigate faults and steep walls approximately 330 feet (100 metres) high. You'll also enjoy views of the Almadenes Gorge and the Quípar River.

During the via ferrata, we will reach the Almadenes hydroelectric power station, view the waterfall of the La Higuera Ravine, and cross a monkey bridge consisting of three cables.

After a 2-hour 30-minute adventure, we'll conclude at the starting point.
