Via Ferrata in the Almadenes Gorge

At 9 am, we'll meet up at the Almadenes Visitor Centre, which is a 20-minute drive from Cieza. We will equip ourselves with helmets, harnesses, and necessary equipment before heading to the beginning of the via ferrata.

We'll take about 10 minutes to walk to the starting point, located in the final stretch of the Almadenes Gorge. We will first discuss safety regulations to be followed during the activity.

We will then embark on a route with clamps and fixed ropes, navigating around faults and steep walls reaching approximately 330 feet (100 metres) high. Participants will enjoy views of the Almadenes Gorge and the Quípar River.

During the adventure, we will visit the Almadenes hydroelectric power station, observe the waterfall of La Higuera Ravine, and cross a monkey bridge consisting of three cables.

After a 2-hour 30-minute experience, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
