Palena River Kayak Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 350 of Calle 5 de Abril. From there, we'll leave La Junta to go to the banks of the Rosselot River.

On arrival at the riverbank, we'll learn some simple safety rules, put on our life jackets, and get our paddles and kayaks ready. Once ready, we'll start our kayak tour. After a short route of just 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) along the Rosselot River, we'll reach the confluence with the Palena River, one of the 3 main waterways of the Aysén region.

Once we reach this river, we'll embark on an unforgettable kayak tour on the Palena River. During the route along this waterway, which lasts approximately an hour and a half, we'll paddle until we reach a river beach located in the vicinity of the riverside town of Puerto Raúl Marín Balmaceda.

After working up an appetite, we'll take a break on the river beach to have a light snack and enjoy the landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

Feeling refuelled and refreshed, we'll drive back to the meeting point in La Junta, where we'll conclude this 5.5 hour activity.
