Are you brave enough to face the white waters of Chile's Patagonia? Don't miss this rafting activity on the Palena River - It'll be a pure adrenaline rush!
Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time, at Number 350 on Calle 5 de Abril in La Junta, and then proceed to the banks of the Rosselot River to set up the necessary equipment.
After reviewing basic safety rules, we'll paddle for about 1km (0.62 miles) along the Rosselot River until we reach the confluence with the Palena River. Here, we will commence the rafting descent through the river's white waters.
The rafting will last approximately 2 hours as we navigate the Palena River, a major current in the Aysén Region of Chile's Patagonia, flowing into Puerto Raúl Marín Balmaceda. The descent concludes at a nearby beach.
After the activity, we will refuel with a light snack while enjoying the landscape around the Palena River, which flows through a dense, green setting of Patagonian forests.
Finally, we will return to La Junta by vehicle, concluding this activity after approximately 5.5 hours together.
