Are you a nature lover? On this trekking route through Queulat National Park, we'll admire the beautiful Patagonian landscapes of the Aysén region, in the southern part of Chile.

Queulat National Park Trekking Route

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at number 350 of Calle 5 de Abril in La Junta. Once ready, we'll take route 7 of the Carretera Austral towards one of the most beautiful areas of the Aysén region. The first stop will be in Puyuhuapi, a village with buildings from the German immigration of the 1940s. After learning about its history, we'll proceed towards the Queulat National Park.

Our hike will last between 3 and 4 hours, divided into 2 sections. The first part leads to the Ventisquero lagoon, where we will view the Hanging Glacier of Queulat. The second section takes us to the large ice tongue situated between the mountains, alongside a waterfall taller than 500 metres (1,640 feet).

At the end of the trek, we'll go to a restaurant in the park for a delicious lunch featuring a typical local dish. After lunch, we'll return to the trailhead and then back to the meeting point in La Junta, concluding this 9.5-hour activity.
