Johannesburg Complete City Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time to start our tour. The first stop will be Constitution Hill, a former prison that tells the story of South Africa's journey to democracy, showcasing exhibitions that help understand the country's past, present, and future.
Next, we will visit the Nelson Mandela Bridge, recognizing Nelson Mandela's role in uniting South African society through its symbolism of linkage and unity.
We will drive through the financial district, featuring skyscrapers such as the Carlton Centre Office Tower, also known as the Top of Africa, the tallest building in Africa.
The next stop is the Apartheid Museum, illustrating the rise and fall of apartheid. After this, we will have 30 minutes for lunch at our leisure. We will then proceed to Soccer City Stadium, known for hosting the 2010 World Cup.
We will continue to Vilakazi Street, famous for being home to two Nobel Prize winners—Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu.
The tour will include Nelson Mandela's former home in Soweto, where you can explore the house and garden, followed by a visit to the Hector Peterson Museum, covering the struggle against apartheid.
