Kruger National Park 3-Day Safari

We'll see zebras, elephants, lions and other wild animals on this 3-day safari at Kruger National Park, located between South Africa and Mozambique.

Description

Day 1: Johannesburg – Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! At the specified time, pickup will be from O. R. Tambo International Airport or a hotel within a 5-kilometre (3-mile) radius. After a 4-hour journey, arrival will be at a lodge in Hazyview, where you can relax after a light lunch. In the evening, we will view a sunset at Kruger National Park.

Then, we will return to the lodge for dinner and rest for the evening.

Day 2: Hazyview – Kruger National Park – Hazyview

The day starts with an early morning for a sunrise safari in Kruger National Park, the best time to spot the African Big Five. After a 3-hour safari, we will enjoy a traditional picnic breakfast. We will continue the safari, admiring rivers and savanna planes.

A stop will be made at a campsite in Kruger for a bathroom break and lunch at your own expense, before returning to the lodge, where you can relax in the afternoon and enjoy a dinner included.

Day 3: Hazyview – Kruger National Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

The third day follows the same schedule, with an early morning safari in Kruger National Park. We will return to the lodge around midday to collect luggage and proceed to the airport in Johannesburg, arriving between 5-6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes 2 nights of accommodation with breakfast in a 3-star lodge in Hazyview, at Umbhaba Eco Lodge or similar. Prices are per person in a double room.

Schedules for Flights and Transfers

When booking your outbound flight to South Africa, note that pickup is from O. R. Tambo International Airport at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:45 am and 7 am, departing at 7:15 am. Your arrival cannot be later than 5 am. We recommend staying at a hotel in Johannesburg prior.

On the day of the safari, pickup from local hotels is from 6:30 am to 6:45 am. Lastly, on the final day, we will return to Johannesburg between 5-6 pm for drop-off at the airport or a nearby hotel. Do not book an outgoing flight before 8 pm for national or before 9 pm for international flights.
