Kruger National Park 3-Day Safari

We'll see zebras, elephants, lions and other wild animals on this 3-day safari at Kruger National Park, located between South Africa and Mozambique.

3-Day Safari Details

Day 1: Johannesburg – Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! At the specified time, we will pick you up from O. R. Tambo International Airport or a hotel within a 5-kilometre (3-mile) radius of the terminal, and travel northwest.

After a 4-hour journey, we'll arrive at a lodge in Hazyview, where you can relax after a light lunch. In the evening, we'll see the sunset in Kruger National Park before returning for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Hazyview – Kruger National Park – Hazyview

We’ll wake up before sunrise to begin our safari. We will embark on a sunrise safari in Kruger National Park. After a 3-hour safari, we will enjoy a traditional picnic breakfast. We will continue exploring the park before stopping at a campsite in Kruger for lunch (at your own expense) and then return to the lodge in Hazyview for the afternoon at leisure and included dinner.

Day 3: Hazyview – Kruger National Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

We'll follow a similar routine: an early start for another sunrise safari in Kruger. After breakfast, we’ll return to the lodge around midday, collect our luggage, and head to the airport in Johannesburg, arriving between 5-6 pm.

Tour Accommodation

This safari includes 2 nights of accommodation with breakfast in a 3-star lodge in Hazyview at Umbhaba Eco Lodge or a similar venue. Prices are per person in a double room.

Schedules for Flights and Transfers

Pickups occur at O. R. Tambo International Airport between 6:45 am and 7 am, departing for Hazyview at 7:15 am, requiring your arrival in South Africa to be before 5 am. To avoid delays, stay at a hotel in Johannesburg the night before the safari. We can also pick you up from nearby hotels between 6:30 am and 6:45 am.

On the final day, we will return to Johannesburg between 5-6 pm. Avoid booking a national flight before 8 pm or an international flight before 9 pm.
