On this 4-day safari around Kruger National Park, we will explore the African savannah in search of local wildlife.

Description

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Arrival in Johannesburg. We will collect you from the airport or your hotel around 6:30 am, departing for Hazyview. The journey will last approximately 4 hours to reach the lodge. After a light lunch, enjoy some rest before an evening sunset view over Kruger National Park. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Early morning departure for a sunrise safari in Kruger National Park, aimed at spotting the Big Five. After a 2-hour safari, enjoy a picnic-style breakfast. The tour continues through rivers and plains, ending at a rest area for a swim and lunch at your expense. Return to the lodge for the day to relax.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg - Hazyview

Post-breakfast, we will tour the Drakensberg mountains, starting at God's Window Viewpoint. The tour includes a visit to Bourke's Luck Potholes and Lisbon Falls, followed by lunch in Graskop. Return to the lodge for the day.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

Leave early for another sunrise safari in Kruger National Park. Afterward, breakfast will be served. Depart for Johannesburg, expecting to arrive around 5 or 6 pm.

Accommodation

Includes 3 nights accommodation with breakfast at Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3 stars) or comparable. Prices are per person in a double bedroom.

Flights and Transfers

Book flights to arrive in Johannesburg by 5 am. Pickup from O.R Tambo International Airport is scheduled from the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:30 am and 7:15 am. Recommended to stay overnight in Johannesburg before the safari.

On the last day, arrival in Johannesburg is around 5:30 pm - 6 pm, with drop-off options available for hotels within 5km. Schedule flights after 8 pm for domestic and after 9 pm for international departures.
