Tour Highlights

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! We'll pick you up at Johannesburg Airport or your hotel and head to Hazyview. After about four hours, we'll arrive at a lodge in Hazyview. Enjoy a light lunch and a sunset view over Kruger National Park before dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Prepare for an early start with a sunrise safari in Kruger National Park, aiming to spot the Big Five. After three hours, we'll have a picnic breakfast and continue to explore the park before enjoying lunch independently. The afternoon is free to relax at the lodge with dinner included.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg Mountains - Hazyview

After breakfast, we'll tour the Drakensberg Mountains. Our stops include God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes Gorge, and Lisbon Falls. Lunch in Graskop follows before returning to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Following breakfast, we’ll embark on another safari in Kruger National Park. Lunch at the lodge will be followed by a free afternoon and dinner included.

Day 5: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

Enjoy a final sunrise safari before a picnic breakfast. After picking up luggage from the lodge, we’ll return to Johannesburg Airport between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes four nights of accommodation with breakfast at the Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3-star) or similar. Prices are per person in a double room.

Flight and Transfer Details

PICKUP from Johannesburg Airport is scheduled between 6:30 am and 7 am with departure set for 7:15 am. Flights should arrive by 5 am. We recommend an overnight stay in Johannesburg prior to the safari at your own cost. Alternative pick-ups are available between 6:30 am and 6:45 am from nearby hotels.

On the last day, we expect to arrive in Johannesburg between 5:30 pm and 6 pm. Drop-off options include the airport or nearby hotels. Avoid scheduling domestic flights before 8 pm or international flights before 9 pm on the last day.
