Tour Highlights

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! We'll pick you up at Johannesburg Airport or your hotel and travel northeast. After about four hours, we'll reach a lodge in Hazyview. After lunch, we'll head to Kruger National Park for a sunset view, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

We'll start with an early sunrise safari in Kruger Park to spot the Big Five. After three hours, enjoy a picnic breakfast before continuing the safari. Lunch is on your own, followed by an afternoon at leisure by the swimming pool. Dinner included.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg Mountains - Hazyview

Following breakfast, we'll tour the Drakensberg Mountains, stopping at God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and Lisbon Falls. Afterward, enjoy lunch in Graskop before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

After breakfast, we’ll embark on another safari in Kruger Park. Light lunch at the lodge and free afternoon until dinner.

Day 5: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

Another early start for a final sunrise safari before a picnic breakfast. After checking out, we'll return to Johannesburg Airport, dropping off between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes four nights at the Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3-star) with breakfast. Prices are per person in a double room.

Flight and Transfer Details

On the first day, pickup is scheduled at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:30 am and 7 am for a 7:15 am departure to Hazyview. Ensure your flight arrives by 5 am. Hotel stay in Johannesburg before the safari is recommended at your cost. Pickup is available for hotels within a 5 km radius. On the last day, drop-off is planned between 5:30 pm and 6 pm; avoid scheduling flights before 8 pm for domestic and 9 pm for international flights.
