Tour Highlights

Day 1: Johannesburg - Hazyview

Welcome to South Africa! We'll pick you up at Johannesburg Airport or your hotel. After approximately four hours, we'll arrive at a lodge in Hazyview. Enjoy a light lunch and some rest before heading to Kruger National Park for a sunset view. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge follow.

Day 2: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Early morning sunrise safari through Kruger National Park to spot the Big Five. After three hours, a picnic breakfast will be served, followed by more exploration of the park. Afternoon at leisure by the swimming pool at the lodge and dinner included.

Day 3: Hazyview - Drakensberg Mountains - Hazyview

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of the Drakensberg Mountains, including stops at God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and Lisbon Falls. Afternoon free in Graskop for shopping and lunch. Return to lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

A new safari through Kruger National Park after breakfast, focusing on species we may have missed. Light lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon at leisure. Dinner included.

Day 5: Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview - Johannesburg

Early farewell with a sunrise safari. Picnic breakfast after the safari, return to the lodge for luggage, then transfer back to Johannesburg Airport, with drops between 5 pm and 6 pm.

Accommodation

This safari includes four nights of accommodation with breakfast at Umbhaba Eco Lodge (3-star) or a similar hotel. Prices are per person in a double room.

Flight and Transfer Details

For the outbound flight, be at Johannesburg Airport by 5 am. Pickup is at the Shuttle and Bus Terminal between 6:30 am and 7 am, with departure by 7:15 am. Consider staying the night prior at a nearby hotel.

On the last day, arrival in Johannesburg is planned for between 5:30 pm and 6 pm. If you have onward flights, avoid scheduling any domestic flights before 8 pm or international flights before 9 pm.
