After picking you up from your hotels at 9:30 am we'll head to Pretoria, known as the Jacaranda City because of the many Jacaranda trees in its parks.

Our first stop will be the Voortrekker Monument, a South African National Heritage Site, where you'll learn about Afrikaner history, the Great Trek, and the Battle of Blood River.

Afterwards, you'll have 30 minutes of free time for lunch. Next, we will arrive at Church Square in the heart of Pretoria to see emblematic buildings such as the Palace of Justice and the Raadsaal, the former seat of Parliament of the Republic of South Africa.

Following on, we'll head to the Union Buildings, the seat of the current government, where you'll find the world's largest sculpture of Nelson Mandela, standing 9 metres high.

The tour will also take us to the Paul Kruger House Museum, where you'll learn about conflicts in the region at the end of the 19th century, and you will also have the chance to visit Melrose House.
