After picking you up from your hotels at 9:30 am, we’ll head to Pretoria, known as the Jacaranda City due to its many Jacaranda trees.

Our first stop will be the Voortrekker Monument, a South African National Heritage Site, where you’ll learn about the history of the Afrikaner, the Great Trek, and the Battle of Blood River.

You will have 30 minutes of free time for lunch. Next, we’ll visit Church Square in the heart of Pretoria to see buildings such as the Palace of Justice and the Raadsaal, the historical seat of the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa.

We will then head to the Union Buildings, the current government's seat, which features the world's largest sculpture of Nelson Mandela, standing 9 metres high.

The tour will also include a visit to the Paul Kruger House Museum, where you’ll learn about regional conflicts at the end of the 19th century, and you will have the chance to visit Melrose House.
