Experience a Pinatubo volcano tour from Manila, where you can explore an active volcano's crater, go off-roading, and visit a historic village!
Description
Depart from Abraham Manila (Abraham Hostel) on an excursion to Mount Pinatubo, known for the world's second-largest volcano eruption of the 20th century. The scenic landscapes are notable.
The day begins with a bus ride to Camp Kainomayan, followed by an off-roading experience leading us to the trailhead for our Pinatubo hike. We will encounter extensive volcanic lahars and small streams, immersing ourselves in this distinct natural landscape.
Next, we will hike through the volcanic crater and arrive at a stunning lake with turquoise waters, providing an excellent photo opportunity. There will be time for lunch amidst this natural beauty.
On our return journey in off-roading vehicles, we will visit an Aeta village. The Aeta people are among the first indigenous populations in the Philippines. During the visit, we will learn about their history and daily lives.
This action-packed adventure concludes with a return to the pickup point after approximately 17 hours of exploration.
