Culture + Shopping Tour Ciudad del Este

The western part of Paraguay features various communities. Join this shopping and cultural tour in Ciudad del Este, the capital of Alto Paraná.

Description

At the scheduled time, the cultural tour will start from the Centro Comercial Shopping del Este.

The first stop will be outside the Alkhaulafa Al-Rashdeen Mosque, focusing on the legacy of the Muslim community in Ciudad del Este. Next, the tour will proceed to the San Blas Cathedral, designed to resemble a boat.

We will continue to explore the diverse cultures in Ciudad del Este at Chiang Kai-Shek Park, established by the Paraguayan Chinese community. Nearby is the El Mensú History Museum, showcasing artifacts from the Chaco War, crafts by the indigenous Guaraní, and various tools and machinery.

Next, we will visit the Feria de Hortigranjeros de Ciudad del Este (Ciudad del Este's Farmer's Market), open from Wednesday to Friday, featuring a variety of Paraguayan products, including fruits, vegetables, and meat.

After the market, a local restaurant will provide an opportunity to grab something small to eat. Post-meal, the group will return to the Centro Comercial Shopping Cellshop for additional local shopping.

Finally, the tour will conclude as we return to the starting point after 4 hours.
