Macuco Safari Adventure Tour

Macuco Safari is an adventure park in the Iguazú National Park. This tour allows exploration of the ecosystem through various activities. You will spend 1 hour in the Brazilian rainforest, guided to discover the local flora and fauna.

Options

When booking, choose between two routes. You can opt to reach the meeting point yourself or have hotel pickup in Foz do Iguaçu. Both options last 1 hour, include access to Macuco Safari, and provide an English-speaking guide.

Electric car tour + Boat ride

This option includes a 2-mile (3-kilometre) vehicle route into the rainforest. You'll see tree species such as Chamaerops and peroba. After a short walk of a third of a mile (half a kilometre) to the Iguazu River, you will board a boat to get close to Iguaçu Falls for an enjoyable ride.

Electric jeep tour + Hike

This option features a 2-mile (3-kilometre) drive through dense vegetation on an electric jeep, followed by a 2,000-foot (600-metre) hike to view toucans, coatis, and lizards. You will reach the Arrechea Waterfall, a 65-foot (20-metre) drop.

Tours with pickup

Pickup at your hotel occurs at the specified time. The itinerary includes a stop at the Caseiro Chocolate Handicraft Center, followed by lunch at Cocar restaurant. In the afternoon, choose between the electric car with speedboat or electric jeep with hike. Return to your hotel is approximately 10 hours later.

Tours without pickup

The electric car plus speedboat tour or electric jeep plus hiking tour can be booked between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Only the Macuco portion is guided for tours without pickup.

Entry to the Falls

A ticket for the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls is required to participate in the tour.
