Your adventure starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu between 7 am and 7:30 am as we head to the Argentine province of Misiones. Our first destination is the Wanda mines, located approximately 60 kilometers away. This site is renowned for its semi-precious stones, primarily extracted by Polish miners. Here, you will discover stunning examples of quartz, amethyst, topaz, and agates, which serve as raw materials in the region's distinctive jewelry. This visit is an essential highlight of the tour!

After exploring the mines, we will proceed to the impressive Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio de Miní, recognized as one of the best-preserved missions in Argentina. Throughout the day, you will learn about the historical significance of the Jesuit Roque González Santa Cruz, who established this mission to evangelize the native communities in the 17th century. Additionally, film enthusiasts might recall these ruins from a notable movie featuring Robert De Niro. You'll also have free time for lunch in the town of San Ignacio before we head back to the bus.

Our return journey will bring us back to your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, with an expected arrival time between 6 pm and 7 pm.

The tour includes hotel pick-up from all accommodations in Foz do Iguaçu, except for those staying at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. If your accommodation is at this hotel, we will reach out to confirm your pick-up time, which will be at the entrance of Iguassu National Park.
