Nature and history are the highlights of this activity that includes a hiking route through Cuetzalán and a visit to a weaving workshop. We'll discover an important tradition of the town and visit beautiful waterfalls.

Cuetzalán Hiking Tour + Loom Workshop Visit

At the time of your choice, we will pick you up at your hotel in Cuetzalán and drive by minibus to the Aventura Grotto, located 10 minutes away. The hiking tour will start through the Aventura cave, featuring stalactites and stalagmites. An explanation of the formation process of these features will be provided during the walk.

After exploring the cave, we will continue to two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area, El Salto and La Escondida. You can also take a dip in their pools to relax after the hike.

The next part of the excursion involves a visit to a backstrap loom workshop, where we will spend approximately 1.5 hours. We will learn about this tool, used since pre-Hispanic times to create garments in the Mesoamerican region.

Participants will see how local residents produce their textiles and will have the opportunity to ask questions, providing a genuine immersion into traditional aspects of Mexican culture.

This five-hour tour will conclude at your hotel.
