Water Trekking through Cuetzalan
At your selected time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cuetzalán and transport you by minibus to the outskirts of the city to begin exploring its natural environment.
Begin your water trekking adventure at the underground river La Garganta, situated inside a grotto. This requires getting wet as we walk along the river course, admiring the rocky walls around us.
During the Cuetzalán water trekking tour, visit the stalactite and stalagmite-filled cavern of El Cántaro and traverse the Sacred Canyon to reach the Encanto waterfall, which is 30 metres high (98 feet).
The hike continues to the Pata de Perro (Dog's Paw), which consists of five small natural pools of shallow water resembling the footprints of dogs.
The total duration of the activity is five to six hours, depending on the group's pace, concluding with a return to your hotel.
