On this 4-day tour through southern Sonora, we will learn about the history of this beautiful state and visit picturesque places like the Pueblo Mágico of Álamos.

Southern Sonora 4-Day Tour

Day 1: Ciudad Obregón

Upon landing at Ciudad Obregón International Airport, we'll pick you up and go on a two-hour tour of the historic center, visiting the Plaza de Armas and the statue of Alvaro Obregón. Afterward, you will check in to the hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free.

Day 2: Ciudad Obregón - Cócorit - Navojoa

After breakfast, we'll head to Cócorit, where we'll explore its streets and visit the Yo'o Juara butterfly sanctuary for insights into the Cuatro Espejos butterfly and the Yaqui Indigenous Peoples. A traditional lunch at Los Chanates restaurant will follow. We will then visit Navojoa, taking a brief tour until we arrive at the Parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. You can have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Navojoa - Álamos

At 8 am, we will have breakfast before visiting the Pueblo Mágico of Álamos. The day includes a hiking route to Cerro El Tecolote, lunch in town, and a visit to the Museo Costumbrista del Estado de Sonora. Afterward, we'll enjoy a guided stroll through the city to see various landmarks. You have free time from 8 pm to relax and have dinner on your own.

Day 4: Álamos - Ciudad Obregón

We'll have breakfast before visiting the María Félix Museum. We will then explore the Sierra de Álamos–Río Cuchujaqui Flora & Fauna Protection Area on a two-hour hike. After lunch in Navojoa, we will head to the Ciudad Obregón International Airport, arriving around 3 pm.
