Rappel & Waterfall Jumping in the Huasteca Cascades

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Ciudad Valles at the scheduled time. We'll embark on a 40-minute drive through the scenic province of San Luis Potosí, leading us to the Micos River where the stunning Cascades of the Huasteca await your exploration.

Upon arrival at the riverbank, you will receive a brief instruction from our guide. With the necessary safety protocols in place, we will venture into the river circuit, taking in the breathtaking views of the Cascada del Toro (Bull's Waterfall). A short distance away, we will encounter a charming 5 meters (16-foot) waterfall, which will be our first jump point!

The adventure continues as we experience the thrill at 5 additional waterfalls. For those less comfortable with heights, there is the option to jump only at the smaller waterfalls, including one that is merely 15 cm (6 inches) high!

We will then exchange the Micos River for the Minas Viejas area, approximately 2 hours away. During this transit, enjoy a complimentary energy bar and a refreshing iced tea. Upon arrival, we will gear up for an exhilarating rappelling descent at the Minas Viejas Waterfall.

For around 2 hours, you will descend the waterfall while taking in breathtaking landscapes and refreshing yourself in the cascading waters. Following the descent, we will head to a local restaurant in Minas Viejas where you will savor a traditional dish prepared over a wood fire alongside a drink.

Our day concludes at 6:30 pm as we return to Ciudad Valles and drop you off at your accommodation.
