Discover the waterfalls of the Salto River on this trip to El Salto and El Meco Waterfalls from Ciudad Valles.
Description
We will collect you from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and travel towards San Luis Potosí in the Huasteca Region, where we will visit the El Salto Waterfall.
The waterfall stands at 70 metres (229 ft.) and is tucked behind dense vegetation. The Salto River flows into turquoise pools suitable for swimming.
Next, we will proceed to the Meco Waterfall viewpoint. Following this, we will board a canoe to paddle to the next waterfall, which reaches a height of 30 metres (98 ft.). Adventurous participants may jump from the top, while others can relax and swim in the area.
To conclude, we will enjoy a traditional dish from the local area at around 4 pm at a nearby restaurant. We expect to return to Ciudad Valles approximately 10.5 hours later.
