Discover the waterfalls of the Salto River on this trip to El Salto and El Meco Waterfalls from Ciudad Valles.
Description
We'll collect you from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and head towards San Luis Potosí, in the Huasteca Region, to see the El Salto Waterfall.
The waterfall, at 70 metres (229 ft.), is located behind dense vegetation and rocks. The Salto River flows into turquoise pools suitable for swimming.
Next, we'll visit the Meco Waterfall viewpoint for impressive views. Then, we'll take a canoe to the next waterfall, which has a height of 30 metres (98 ft.). Adventurous participants can jump into the water, while others can relax and swim.
At around 4 pm, we’ll enjoy a traditional dish at a nearby restaurant. Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles, arriving approximately 10.5 hours later.
