Swim in five of the idyllic Huasteca waterfalls with this fantastic trip from Ciudad Valles. You'll discover the beautiful cascades of Micos, Toro, Minas Viejas, El Salto, and El Meco.

Huasteca Waterfalls Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel at 9 am from Ciudad Valles and depart for the Micos River, a 40-minute drive away.

Once we arrive, we'll take a gentle stroll along the riverbank to reach the Cascada de Micos, which is over 49 metres (160 ft) high. We will admire this site and take a dip in the plunge pool.

We will continue walking to discover the Cascada del Toro falls with its emerald water pool, one of the best places to swim in the jungle. Then we will return to the bus and head to El Naranjo, about an hour away.

There, we will find the Minas Viejas Waterfall. We will swim in the pool and enjoy an energy bar and iced tea in the surroundings. After this, we drive for about 50 minutes to our next destination, the El Salto waterfall, which is around 70 metres (230 ft). We will have half an hour to swim in the clear waters.

Our last stop is the Meco Waterfall, where we will view its 35 metres (115 feet) height. Afterward, we return to El Naranjo for a lunch consisting of a drink and a traditional dish.

Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles at 7 pm and accompany you back to your accommodation.
