Swim in five of the idyllic Huasteca waterfalls with this fantastic trip from Ciudad Valles. You'll discover the beautiful cascades of Micos, Toro, Minas Viejas, El Salto, and El Meco.

Huasteca Waterfalls Trip

We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your hotel and depart from Ciudad Valles for the Micos River, a 40-minute drive away.

Once we have arrived, we'll take a gentle stroll along the riverbank to reach the Cascada de Micos. This waterfall is over 49 metres (160 ft) high! We'll admire this unforgettable sight and take a dip in the crystal plunge pool.

Afterward, we'll continue walking to discover the Cascada del Toro falls. Its enchanting pool of emerald water is one of the best places to swim in the Mexican jungle! Then we'll return to the bus and head to El Naranjo, a village located about an hour away.

There we'll discover the huge Minas Viejas Waterfall. We'll swim in the pool and later regain our strength with a tasty energy bar and refreshing iced tea whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings. Then we drive for about 50 minutes through the lush rainforest to our next destination: the El Salto waterfall which falls around 70 metres (230 ft)! We'll have about half an hour to dive into the crystal clear waters of the pool here.

The last waterfall of the Huasteca that we'll visit will be the Meco Waterfall. From this viewpoint, we'll enjoy a unique panorama of the waterfall at 35 metres (115 feet) high! Afterward, we'll return to El Naranjo to enjoy a lunch consisting of a drink and a traditional dish.

Finally, we'll return to Ciudad Valles where we accompany you back to your accommodation after this 10-hour tour.
