Sótano El Cepillo Abseiling Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Ciudad Valles at 7 am, we will travel to Aquismón, which takes about an hour and a half by minibus.

Upon arrival, we will have a breakfast of coffee, enchiladas, chilaquiles, or scrambled eggs, depending on the season, to energize us before the abseiling activity.

The 'sótanos' are pit caves resembling an abyss leading deep into the earth. During the tour, we will explore 'sótano El Cepillo', one of the most renowned in Aquismón.

Equipped with necessary safety gear, we will descend through the grotto, which features a vertical drop of nearly 160 metres (524 feet). Instructors will accompany us throughout the experience, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of the Huasteca Potosina.

In the cave's final section, there is a small natural pool with turquoise waters where participants can take a refreshing dip if desired. After resting inside the cave, we will ascend back to the surface.

To conclude the excursion, we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant, which includes a dish and a drink. We will finish the tour at 7 pm and return you to your hotel.
