Sótano El Cepillo Abseiling Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Ciudad Valles at 7 am, we will travel to Aquismón for a day of adventure. The minibus journey will last approximately an hour and a half.

Upon arrival, a breakfast of coffee, enchiladas, chilaquiles, or scrambled eggs will be provided, depending on the season, to fuel up before the abseiling activity.

In Mexico, 'sótanos' refers to pit caves, which are abyss-like formations extending deep into the earth. We will explore 'sótano El Cepillo', one of Aquismón's renowned pit caves.

Participants will be equipped with all necessary safety equipment for abseiling, commencing the descent through the grotto that features a vertical drop of nearly 160 meters (524 feet).

Accompanied by instructors, we will enter the depths of the Huasteca Potosina to appreciate its natural beauty. At the cave's final section, a small natural pool with turquoise waters will be accessible for swimming if desired.

After resting inside the cave, we will ascend back to the surface. A lunch comprising a dish and a drink will be provided at a restaurant to replenish energy.

The excursion concludes at 7 pm when participants will be returned to their hotels.
