Tamtoc and Taninul Trip

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and drive for about 40 minutes through the state of San Luis Potosi to the town of Tamuín.

First, we will stop at the archaeological site of Tamtoc, the most important settlement in the region. Here, we will learn about the culture of the Huastecan people, descendants of the Mayas, as we walk among the vestiges and mounds that showcase their way of life.

Next, we will travel for about 40 minutes to reach Taninul, a hotel with a thermal spa. You will enjoy an energy bar and iced tea before relaxing for 2 hours in the thermal spring with thermosulfuric waters and the option to exfoliate your skin with mud and enjoy a complete beauty treatment.

Finally, a traditional lunch at Taninul hotel will include a drink and a traditional dish. After lunch, we will return to Ciudad Valles, arriving at 5 PM, where the adventure concludes.

Pickup occurs only at hotels within Ciudad Valles. For accommodations outside the city, an extra charge will apply based on each lodging's location.
