Tamtoc and Taninul Trip

We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Ciudad Valles and drive for about 40 minutes through the state of San Luis Potosi to the town of Tamuín. Our first stop will be at the archaeological site of Tamtoc, the most significant settlement in the region, where we will learn about the Huastecan culture, descendants of the Mayas, by walking among the mounds and vestiges of the indigenous people who first inhabited the area.

Afterward, we will travel for another 40 minutes to reach Taninul, a hotel with a thermal spa. Here, we will have an energy bar and iced tea, followed by 2 hours of relaxation in the thermosulfuric spring waters. Options include exfoliating with mud and enjoying a beauty treatment in this natural spring.

Finally, a traditional lunch at the Taninul hotel will include a drink and a traditional dish. After lunch, we will return to Ciudad Valles, arriving at 5 pm, where we will drop you off at your hotel, concluding the adventure.

Pickup takes place only at hotels within Ciudad Valles. For accommodations outside the city, an extra charge will apply, varying based on the location of each lodging.
