PADI Open Water Diving Course in Menorca

Day 1

We will gather at the designated meeting point on Carrer la Platja in Son Xoriguer, where our PADI Open Water Diver course will kick off at the diving school. Are you prepared to uncover the wonders beneath the surface?

Upon booking your spot, you will receive a manual covering essential diving principles, which we will review during the first day. Discussions will include buoyancy, underwater communication signals, and dive planning. Make sure to pass a test to demonstrate your understanding before diving into practical sessions.

Days 2 and 3

On the subsequent days, after reuniting at the diving school, we’ll proceed to the beach to don our wetsuits and embark on our dives. Throughout the course, you will undertake four dives, with a maximum of two per day.

Accompanied by a diving instructor, you will have the opportunity to experience the stunning underwater landscapes of Menorca while enhancing your diving skills.

We will explore depths ranging from 5 to 18 meters (16 to 60 feet), with a special limit of 12 meters (40 feet) for children aged 10 to 11 years. You will develop the skills necessary to dive autonomously, and upon completion of the course, you will be awarded the international PADI Open Water Diver certification and license.

Course Duration

The course duration is flexible, allowing either a 2 or 3-day schedule based on your preferences. You could complete the theoretical component on the first day and follow up with the dives over the next two days, or choose to blend the theory with the initial two dives on day one, finishing with the last two dives the following day.

Following your final dive, please allow a minimum of 24 hours before flying or ascending to high-altitude regions.
