PADI Open Water Diving Course
Once the reservation is made, you'll receive codes to complete the online course from home to obtain your PADI Open Water certificate.
Day 1: Practice in confined waters
On the first day, meet at the dive center located at Carrer des Canal 421. A brief theoretical explanation will be provided, followed by a 50-question theoretical exam to assess your understanding of the concepts. Next, you will proceed to the Minorcan coast for your first technical exercises in calm, shallow waters, allowing for safe practice.
Days 2 & 3: Practice in open waters
On the second and third days, you will apply the knowledge from Day 1, focusing on controlling buoyancy, underwater orientation, and partner assistance in oxygen emergencies. Two dives will be conducted each day to learn necessary techniques for becoming independent divers. On the final day, return to the dive center to receive your PADI Open Water certificate upon successful completion of all exercises.
Important Information
A medical certificate is required before taking the course to confirm you're fit for the sport.After the activity, wait at least 24 hours before engaging in air travel or ascending to high altitudes.
