Embark on a full-day trip to Rome from the Port of Civitavecchia for an economical experience of the Eternal City.

Day Trip Details

Meet your guide in the port of Civitavecchia and board a coach to Rome. Enjoy the scenic landscape of the province for over an hour until reaching the city center.

In Rome, visit popular attractions starting from St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, where you'll walk through the square in front of St. Peter's Basilica, home to Michelangelo's Pieta.

Continue with a sightseeing tour that includes Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber Island, Cayo Cestio Pyramid, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, Aventine Hill, and the Arch of Constantine.

No visit would be complete without stopping at the Colosseum to explore the surrounding areas, as well as the Roman Forum and Trajan's Column. Nearby, visit Piazza Venezia and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II.

Additionally, visit the Trevi Fountain, Agrippa Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, all in close proximity. In the afternoon, return to the port in Civitavecchia in time to board your cruise ship.
