Tampa Bay is home to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a rescue and rehabilitation centre for Atlantic wildlife.

With this ticket, you'll learn about their mission to care for and protect injured creatures until they can survive independently. The aquarium features bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays, with opportunities to feed and take pictures with them. Additionally, the facility offers a tour of the aquarium's hospital, where you can observe how caregivers assist rescued animals.

A notable site is the memorial of Winter, a dolphin who lost her tail in a net but learned to swim again using a prosthetic device. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium provided her care and a home after her accident.

Opening Hours

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm. On December 24, it closes at 2 pm, and on December 31 at 4 pm. The centre is closed on Thanksgiving.
