This experience combines two adventures: a helicopter ride and a snowshoeing tour in the Rocky Mountains.
Description
Meet near the David Thompson Highway to begin the helicopter journey over the Canadian Rockies. You will view glaciers, rugged canyons, and waterfalls. After landing in the wilderness, the snowshoeing tour begins.
You will hike for one hour through winter terrain, with options including Landslide Lake or similar areas, depending on the weather. This easy snowshoeing activity is suitable for beginners, and you'll enjoy a cup of hot chocolate during the adventure. After about one hour and 20 minutes in the air, you will return to the starting point.
Visit Abraham Lake
An enhanced option includes a 20-minute helicopter ride followed by a one-hour snowshoeing tour, plus an additional hour and a half at Abraham Lake, a man-made reservoir with unique natural phenomena. The lake's bottom has plants that produce methane gas, which creates bubbles trapped in the ice, resulting in stunning landscapes.
This option offers a more comprehensive adventure featuring helicopter views, snowshoeing, and the unique sights of Abraham Lake.

The exact schedule will be provided a few days prior to the activity, influenced by weather conditions. Flights are typically between 8 am and 5 pm.
