Description
Participants will meet near the David Thompson Highway and take a helicopter to explore the Canadian Rockies. The scenic flight will showcase glaciers near Cline River, Coral Creek canyons, and Michelle Lakes with waterfalls. Once on the ground, an hour-long snowshoe hike will commence. Depending on weather conditions, the hike will either go to Landslide Lake or nearby areas. Snowshoeing is accessible for beginners, and participants will enjoy hot chocolate during the tour. The entire experience lasts approximately one hour and 20 minutes before returning by helicopter.
Visit Abraham Lake
An enhanced option includes a 20-minute helicopter ride and a one-hour snowshoeing tour, followed by an additional hour and a half at Abraham Lake. This man-made reservoir features a unique natural phenomenon where methane gas bubbles create a striking visual effect in the ice. This option promises stunning sights and an exciting adventure.
Departure times
The scheduling details will be provided a few days in advance, based on weather conditions. Flights generally occur between 8 am and 5 pm.
