Learn how to ride the waves of the Atlantic Ocean with our Surfing Lesson in Connemara. You'll have a unique experience as you learn how to do this sport in a beautiful part of western Ireland.

Surfing Lesson in Connemara

Ballyconneely, on Connemara's coastline, is one of the best places to go surfing in Ireland. We'll meet at the car park of Keogh's shop at your chosen time to begin learning the basics of this water sport.

After some theoretical instruction, we'll head to the beach to practice maintaining balance on the surfboard. The instructor will teach the main techniques on the sand to prepare you for entering the water.

We will then start surfing along Connemara's coastline, exploring spots such as Mannin Bay while riding the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

As you become more comfortable on the board, you'll appreciate the popularity of this water sport. This stretch of coastline is ideal for beginners learning how to surf.

The lesson lasts for 2 hours 30 minutes, after which we'll take our equipment back to the meeting point.
