Meet us at Museum Square to begin our guided tour of Cluj in this corner of northeastern Romania.

Known as the "City of the Arts," Cluj originated from a Roman colony in the 2nd century A.D. We'll pass several significant landmarks in the Old Town, noting its intricate architecture.

Our first stop is St. Michael's Cathedral, featuring a bell tower that stands 80 meters (262 feet) tall. Next, we’ll visit Banffy Palace, the headquarters of the National Museum of Art.

Then we’ll explore Mirror Street, where the buildings create stunning visual symmetry. Following this, we’ll proceed to the Metropolitan Orthodox Cathedral, where we will find the statue of Avram Iancu, leader of the Wallachian Revolution of 1848. Finally, we'll admire the intricate details of the National Theater building.
