Transylvania 2 Day Tour

Day 1: Cluj – Alba Carolina – Corvin Castle – Sibiu

Pickup will be at your hotel in Cluj at 9 am to explore important sites in southern Transylvania. The first stop will be Alba Carolina, an 18th-century citadel in Alba Iulia. You'll explore this well-preserved fortress known for its iconic star shape.

Next, we'll head to Sibiu, the 2007 European Capital of Culture. You'll visit key landmarks, including the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Bridge of Lies. After touring Sibiu, you'll check in at your hotel for the night and have the remainder of the day free.

Day 2: Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara – Cluj

After breakfast, we'll depart for Biertan to visit its fortified church, an impressive structure with a complex lock featuring up to 15 bolts. Our journey continues to Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad Tepes, where you'll explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and have free time for lunch.

We'll regroup after lunch to visit the Sighisoara Clock Tower, which houses the city's History Museum. You'll then climb the 300 wooden steps to the Church on the Hill, a significant regional church. Finally, we'll return to Cluj, with drop-off around 6 pm.

This tour includes one night's accommodation at Hotel Marabella or Hotel Casa Luxemburg in Sibiu, subject to availability.
