Tarata, Cliza & La Angostura Lake Trip

The tour begins at 10 am in Plaza de Colón in Cochabamba, followed by a 50-minute drive to Tarata.

In Tarata, participants will explore for two and a half hours, walking through its streets and squares to view historical buildings such as San Pedro church and the Town Hall, and the unique Melgarejo Bridge. A traditional meal with a main course and chicha de maíz will be provided. Following lunch, a visit to the Tarata market will take place before boarding the minibus.

The next stop is the carob forest of Tiataco, where a short 35-minute hike will be conducted to learn about Andean culture and a brief visit to the village of Tiataco.

The tour continues at the Cliza farmer's market and the main square, featuring the historic clock tower of Nuestra Señora del Carmen church.

The final destination is the Angostura lagoon, known for its impressive views.

The return journey to Cochabamba will conclude at Plaza de Colón by 5:15 pm.
