Tarata, Cliza & La Angostura Lake Trip

After meeting at 10 am in the Plaza de Colón square in Cochabamba, we'll set off for Tarata, about 50 minutes away.

We'll spend two and a half hours exploring Tarata, walking through its streets and squares. Highlights include the San Pedro church, the Town Hall, and the Melgarejo Bridge. A traditional meal will be provided, including a main course and a typical drink, the chicha de maíz. After lunch, we'll visit the Tarata market.

Next, we'll head to the carob forest of Tiataco, 15 minutes away, for a 35-minute hike where we will learn about Andean culture. We will also visit the village of Tiataco before proceeding to Cliza.

The trip will include stops at the Cliza farmer's market and the main square, where the clock tower of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen church is located.

Afterward, we'll pass by the Angostura lagoon before making our way back to Cochabamba, arriving at Plaza de Colón at 5:15 pm.
