Day 1

You'll be picked up at 7 am from your hotel in Cochabamba to begin this 2-day trip. The journey will take you through South Bolivia's department of Potosí, where you can admire the villages surrounding the High Valley of Cochabamba and the Angostura lake, an artificial 6 mile (10 kilometre) lake.

Along the way, you'll pass through the towns of Tarata, Punata, Huayculi, and Ansaldo while following the Caine River to reach Toro Toro. After settling into the hotel and having lunch, we will head to the Toro Toro National Park, home to a species protection area and a palaeontological site.

During this trip, you'll have the opportunity to observe dinosaur footprints and Mesozoic fossils at the archaeological site, as well as explore the Umajalanta cavern, a 4 mile (7 km) grotto with stalactites and an interior lagoon inhabited by blind fish. We'll return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

On the second day, we'll start early with breakfast before heading to the deepest part of the Toro Toro canyon. Here you will see crystal clear water pools and have a chance to swim. After enjoying time at the gorge, we'll have lunch and return to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
