Toro Toro 2 day Tour

Day 1

You'll be picked up at 7 am from your hotel in Cochabamba to begin the trip. We will head to South Bolivia's department of Potosí, admiring the villages surrounding the High Valley of Cochabamba and the Angostura lake, an artificial 6 mile (10 kilometre) lake. Along the way, we will pass through the towns of Tarata, Punata, Huayculi, and Ansaldo while following the Caine River to arrive at the village of Toro Toro. After settling into the hotel and having lunch, we will visit the Toro Toro National Park, a protected area and palaeontological site.

During our visit, we will observe dinosaur footprints and Mesozoic fossils at the archaeological site and explore the Umajalanta cavern, a 4 mile (7 km) deep grotto with stalactites and an interior lagoon. After the day's activities, we will return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2

On the second day, we will start early and have breakfast before heading to the deepest part of the Toro Toro canyon. You will see crystal clear water pools and have the opportunity to swim. After enjoying the gorge, we will have lunch and return to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
