Toro Toro, Itas and Valle Alto 3-Day Private Tour

Day 1: Cochabamba - Toro Toro - Umajalanta

We'll meet at 8 am at Calle Baptista to board a bus for a five-hour journey to Toro Toro National Park. On the way, we will pass through colonial villages such as Tarata and Anzaldo. After arriving, we will check into our hotel and visit the Toro Toro valley canyon to see dinosaur footprints and geological strata from the prehistoric Cretaceous Sea. Afterward, we'll return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Itas - Cochabamba

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Itas at an altitude of 700 meters. The area features sandstone labyrinths and towers, and the highlight will be the enigmatic cave paintings found in the tunnels. After this, we will return to Toro Toro to collect our luggage and head back to Cochabamba.

Day 3: High Valley - Cochabamba

After breakfast, we'll explore the High Valley. Our first stop will be the town of Arani, known for its giant cheese bread, mama qonqachis, and the Renaissance-style church of San Bartolomé. Next, we will visit Punata, a significant site during the Bolivian War of Independence, and experience a workshop making rosquetes. We will also go to Huayculi, known for pottery, and conclude with a visit to Tarata before returning to Cochabamba, ending the tour at Calle Baptista around 5 pm.
